Child Protection

Safeguarding children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation through case management, reunification, and child-friendly spaces.

Program overview

What we deliver

Our Child Protection program works to safeguard children from abuse, neglect, exploitation, violence, and harmful practices. We support vulnerable children through case management, family tracing and reunification, psychosocial support, child-friendly spaces, and awareness campaigns that promote child rights and wellbeing.

We also collaborate with caregivers, schools, community leaders, and local authorities to strengthen child protection systems and improve community-based care mechanisms. The program emphasizes safe learning environments and increased protection for children affected by emergencies and displacement.

Key activities

  • Child-friendly spaces (CFS) with structured play, MHPSS, and age-group activities
  • Caregiver and community sessions on child rights, abuse, neglect, and safe referral pathways
  • Family tracing and reunification, case management, and coordination with UNICEF and partners
